英検3級のライティングには、Eメールに返信する問題が出題されます。
「質問に答えるだけって聞いたけど、何を書けばいいの？」
「語数が足りなくなりそうで不安…」
最初は不安だと思うけど、実はそんなに難しくありません。
型を覚えて練習すれば、必ず安定して書けるようになります。

英検3級 Eメール問題の出題形式
英検3級のEメール問題は、次のような形です。
- 最初に短いメール本文が書かれている
- その後に、質問が2つ書かれている
- その2つの質問に、英語で答える
Eメールのポイント
- 前半のメール本文は「状況説明」
- 実際に書くのは、後半の2つの質問への答えだけ
つまり、
「質問に正しく答えること」だけに集中すればOKです。
Eメール問題でいちばん大事な3つのポイント
質問は必ず2つ。答えも2つ書く
- 1つ目の質問に1文
- 2つ目の質問に1文
- 単語数が足りなければ短い文をもう1文
この形を守るだけで正しく書くことが出来ます。
語数は【15〜25語】を必ず守る
英検3級のEメール問題は、15語～25語で書くようになっています。
内容によっては2文で15語を超えますが、質問内容によっては2文で15語に届かないことも。
その場合でも、ほぼ定型文を足すだけで単語数の調整が出来ます。

語数が足りないときに使える「万能1文」
Eメール問題では、
答えを書いたあとに「あと2〜5語足りない！」ということがよくあります。
そんなときのために、どんな内容にも足せる安全な1文を覚えておきましょう。
■ 過去形（やったこと・終わった出来事）
過去問を見ると、過去形での質問が出ることが多いので、下の過去形の文は覚えておくと本当に便利です。
- It was fun.（3語）楽しかったです
- I really enjoyed .（3語）本当に楽しかったです
- I learned a lot.（4語）たくさん学びました
- I worked hard.（3語）一生懸命頑張りました
■ 未来形（予定・これから）
未来形もよく出てきます。
特に1番の「楽しみにしています」は単語数も稼げるし、いろんな質問に対して使えるのでとても便利です。
絶対に覚えておきましょう！
- I am looking forward to it.（6語）楽しみにしています
- I want to get better.（5語）もっとうまくなりたいです
- I will do my best.（4語）頑張ります
（※practice に替えてもOK）
■ 現在形（習慣・今の状態）
1番の「I like it.」は特に何でも使えて便利です。
あと少しだけ単語が足りない時の万能フレーズです！

Eメール問題のまとめ
英検3級のEメール問題は、
- 特別な表現はいらない
- 難しい英語も不要
- 質問にきちんと答えて、語数を守る
これだけで、安定して点が取れます。
「語数が足りないかも…」と感じたら、定型文を1文足す。
このやり方を身につければ、Eメール問題はむしろ得点源になります。
